hard boiled eggs take more than a minute (minute eggs surprisingly are just raw eggs)...but less than 114 minutes (ie. the running time of hope floats). to avoid eggs on fire,
place eggs in a saucepan covered with cold water; bring to a boil and cover; remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes. a
perfectly hard boiled egg will
spin evenly (and not wobble).
a
perfectly respectable boiled egg will sit in the water until you're ready to eat it.
